The Section for Electrical Equipment and Machine Automation is formed by companies importing and distributing low voltage switching equipment and machine automation products, systems and related software as well as supplying services related to these products.

The main clientele consists of companies within manufacturing industry using the products in their processes and end products as well as in their service and maintenance.

The section monitors extensively development of the market and changes in the members’ operational environment. As the members have a major role in developing the competitiveness of Finnish industry the section consequently works actively in promoting automation and its importance as well as in supporting related education.

The Chairman of the section is Mauri Honkanen from SEW Eurodrive Oy and Jan Sucksdorff is the General Secretary of the section.
