The Power Machines section and its groups for Engines and Generators, Compressors, Pressure washers, Pumps and Transmissions consist of the leading companies importing and supplying components, machines, equipment and systems and related services for metal and process industry, mining, maintenance, water supply and building industry as well as for retailers.

The focus of the section and its groups is in comprehensive market surveying, monitoring the changes in members’ operational environment and promoting the members’ interests in legislative issues. In addition to this the groups are active in various projects aiming for development in the members’ businesses.

The section also takes part in the development and preparations of the industry’s leading domestic events.

The Chairman of the section is Markus Leppänen from Avesco Oy and Jan Sucksdorff is the General Secretary of the section and its groups.
